Quick Question on this setup

basically iv got a few new parts for my PC and wondering if this should run badcompany2 (MP) on medium to full settings (dx9 or 10?)

Quad Core @ 2.3
4gb ddr2 ram (Standard speed?)
Biostar GTS 250 1gb 256bit (still waiting on this part for now)

iv checked the specs on the box but iv noticed that even with the specs they say you need it sometimes doesnt run smoothly.

Just wondering if any one knows if this will be able to run it allright. would like to get an idea of if this system is allright before i buy the rest.

I have looked for reviews on the GTS 250 but havent come across any usefull ones

It should be fine but then again BFBC2 can run well on one pc and the next it sucks.

Those specs though should run it 100%, quadcore is very important and the 250 will run it fairly well. You may need to tweak a couple things but it should run fine.

What resolution you gaming at?

If 1920x1080/1200 you might have to go sub medium, but I don't have a card so not 100% sure.

OT: i normally game at 1024x768 so that will most likely be the res il play at, still got a crap CRT any way thanks for the responses will def get the card then i guess. also i dont really mind playing with lower shadow details and all that if its needed.

At that res i'm sure you could even put a few settings on high (K well most of them)
