Is it worth it buying a Mid-2011 iMac computer? 3TB HDD, 32GB Ram. What would be a good price for it?

Stay away. The latest macOS Catalina only runs on 2012 macs and newer.

Thanks, the owner bought it brand new in 2017 at R24k, and has the receipt for the purchase. So, it is an old machine, but it has only been used for 2 years. The owner upgraded the RAM to 32GB and he added a 3TB HDD. He was selling the whole machine at R10k.

I wouldn’t. You can find much newer models secondhand at that price.

High Siera is fine for the average user but there are ways around it via a patch if needed.
