Hi All,

I'm just you regular "introvert" next door. I'm looking at doing a little get-away week-end with a couple of friends, and I just want to get some ideas from those who are regular campers (not the gaming type, sorry).

I'm looking for any good camping spots that may be a little less people dense. Ideally I'm looking for maybe a nice 2 -3 day hike with camping spots spread out. Don't mind setting up camp or the smaller self catering chalets. Forest setting preferred.

I'm currently in Cape Town, but wouldn't mind a lengthy drive.

Thanks in Advance.

Ps. Suppose I could Google this information, but none of those sites have a "people density" factor :p

Beaverlac is awesome but gets busy on weekends. If you go during the week you can have the whole place to yourself.

+1 for Beaverlac. There are quite a few places around it as well.
