I must say, I'm quite happy with what Sentech is delivering so far. The application process to a while, but I received my device today, and everything has run pretty smooth, aside from the waiting.

Got 4 led's lit up here at the office, bandwidth looks good, and pings are average 100-120 on game servers.

Thanks for the alternative Sentech.

BTW, I'm going to CapeTown on the 18th and 19th. Any chance my connection will work down there whilst staying at the V&A Waterfront? I know the beta testing is starting up, but will my activated "Jhb" account pick things up down there, or is it still "closed" beta?

the only thing making it beta is the fact is that limited users will have the modems, it might work, try it out (as far as I know the registration servers are all real-time things, so if you log in in cape town or jhb, your info is there ready to use)

It would be a kewl test. A mobility test. Using if for its purpose.
And you could post a comparison between cape town and jhb tests. Dl'd speeds, ping,...

..- dot dot dash ;)
