I am on day 6 of no vaping! I didn't realise that I would experience such intense withdrawal symptoms (headaches, anxiety and the worst part is the "munchies")
Indications are that I can probably expect another 3 weeks of discomfort.
After 40+ years of smoking/vaping I have finally decided to kick the habit and no longer want to contribute to Mr Kieswetter's slush fund.
I am determined to quit!
Wish me luck.
5th April 2025 - Day 12 of no vaping.
10th April 2025 - Day 17 of no vaping
2nd May 2025 - Day 39 of no vaping.

Keep at it!

Have you considered slowly reducing the nicotine content until you are weaned off it, or did you decide to rather do cold turkey? You could also do nicotine-free juice if you find the munchies too rough, it should cut down a bit on the craving to have something by your mouth the whole time (as weird as that sounds).

I can stop vaping from a withdrawals perspective for multiple days without much issue.

It’s the “fidget toy” nature of the thing while working that I’ve apparently made a serious habit of which is the real problem and has me picking it up again.

Think the biggest issue as opposed to real smoking is that I always went and did that outside, whereas the vaping goes everywhere with you.

I did cut the nicotine percentage down over time and for the last 8 months to a year was vaping zero nicotine. The vaping of plane juice continued but because of the tax implementation and also the "pacifier" effect I decide to chuck it all in.

I also had this addiction to having something in my hand all the time and decided to pack all my mods and juice away from my regular locations. I must say, not having easy access to a mod has most definitely helped me and I no longer feel naked without a mod in my hands.

And so i thought every vaping smoker I chatted to “it ain’t smoking, I can stop now”!

I mean some might be nicotine free vaping.

I don’t understand the point, much like decaf coffee, but to each their own.
