Hi

Is it possible to build a i7 for around 5k ?

specs im looking for :

i7 processor
mobo can be generic
at least 4gb ram (doesn't need to be high spec gaming ram)
no graphics card needed
casing can be generic as well however the psu should be at least 500w

not sure if i missed anything out,

the pc will be used for a small business

Hi Ryu,

For an i7 setup, R5K would be very difficult to achieve.

If you're going LGA1366 i7, the motherboard and CPU would be R4K (at the cheapest).
If you're going LGA1156 i7, the CPU would be more expensive, but you'd be able to get a cheaper motherboard, but you'd still be looking at R4K for those both.
