Speaking of cheap netbooks, does anyone here except me still have the original Asus EEE PC 70x series? I was wanting to sell mine, but I guess my price was a bit too high back then?

The Netbooks with Win 7 Starter feel terribly slow and sluggish to me. I used Nlite on my EEE PC to slim down Windows Xp to fit onto a 2GB SSD and it flies considering it's a 700MHz Celeron

Its alive!
I have a ACER Aspire One at home - Loaded it up with Linux Mint, it still runs like a charm, but sadly - there's nothing I can do with it. My old Nexus 7 Tablets have more power.

I had one of those Aspire One machines. It had an odd issue whereby the HDD would not detect until the unit got a bit warm, usually about ten minutes after booting. Not a dealbreaker, but I did not like the long boot times
