So what I noticed was I’m Getting signal bars on my R218 router about 3 and 4 here and there ... which means that I don’t struggle on getting reception great but my download speeds are poor ... So knowing that this router only supports FDD bands which is Band 3 if I’m correct and that’s connected on the 1800MHz frequency So believing that the cell tower I’m connected to is congested on that frequency does this mean I need to get a router that supports TDD bands which is Band 38 or 41 like they say and that is 2600MHz that will give me signal strength and speeds depending if the tower supports the 2600MHz band ? I’m definitely not getting speeds without my sim so I’m believing that I need to upgrade to a proper router .. I attached a picture showing on rains website that they saying which bands there network runs on and if the one don’t work for you the other should depending if they have that cell towers In your area

Get yourself a secondhand or new B618 modem make sure it's the 22d version then you can select band 38.
