R500 Budget - CPU Cooler

Reason I'm asking is that I had a CM Hyper 212+ and I'm looking atm at a Zalman cnps9900 fan.Problem for me is it looks oldish.I read reviews on the true spirit and I'm impressed. The problem is when it comes to cooling today one cannot sacrifice for some cheap cooler with crap cooling.

I also have a Cogage True Spirit cooler in my office PC, but I'm not THAT impressed by it. It is pretty good for its price though.

Another alternative would be the Coolermaster V6, which would cost you ~R500.
eg. http://www.bonanzatech.co.za/product.php?id_product=4004 * I've never bought from these guys, but I suppose if you use a credit card you can't go wrong.

Choices,choices,choices.

Hyper 612 PWM is also a good option. Noctua N14-DH or whatever it is should also be fairly potent. Thermaltake Jing Silent is another one.

Any suggestions?

What do you seek to achieve with the cooler?

The Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo at about R350 is likely more than enough for a solid OC on your CPU.

If you want to spend more, for what ever reason that may be including aesthetics, performance, and noise levels, you can look elsewhere, all good suggestions in this thread.

I personally use Thermalright MUX-120 Black.
