Bump.. it's legit guys, I'm not a newbie account - I just need to offload this voucher and you get R50 off

Nope.. no refunds - got a canned response from them so it's clearly happened a lot.

They last 36 months so either someone buys it or hopefully coct will be added to the list of municipalities before it expires.

Have you asked Cape Town Electricity billing when this will be implemented?

its not a coct issue its a capitec implementation issue.
We understand your concern about mistakenly purchasing an incorrect voucher or thinking the voucher supports all municipalities and we apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

At the moment, we do not have the City of Cape Town (COCT) as a supported location for Electro Voucher usage. However, we continuously evaluate and expand our service offerings based on customer demand and market trends.Regarding your request to reverse the voucher, unfortunately, Electro Vouchers are non-refundable once purchased.

- The voucher cannot be refunded once you have bought it.
- The voucher is valid for 36 months from the date of purchase, Thereafter, the voucher will expire and cannot be used. Expiry dates cannot be extended.
- The voucher cannot be exchanged for cash, and no change or credit balance will be given as cash.
- If the voucher code is lost or stolen, it is the person who received the voucher responsibility. Capitec will not be held responsible for any loss suffered, whether the code was redeemed or not.
- The Capitec client who buys the voucher has the ability to view the voucher wiCode.
- The misuse of the voucher will be determined at Capitec's sole discretion.
