R7.5 billion wind farm boost for SA

Eastern Cape. Some cadre is going to make a lot of money, for free!
 
The Eastern Cape will soon generate more renewable power than it needs itself, becoming a net exporter of electricity.

Even more so when the 4800MW nuke comes online :twisted:
 
Probably would have been a lot cheaper if they had gone with energy kites.

Only 3GWh a year? Something is wrong in that article. Or else the cost of this "wind farm" is one turbine at a hugely inflated cost.
