This is not android. My wife has the Nokia 630 (512MB) and its extremely fast. I have yet to see any issues with the phone. If you want to play all the eye candy games get something more expensive.

Windows Phone OS can be used by any manufacture for free.

There's tons of Windows Phones just not in our market. Lumia is like the Nexus of Android

Being Windows it probably needs 32GB of RAM.

Out of all the low cost phones this would be the one I would most likely get.
WP has the best battery life and speed for lower end hardware.
