my dog caught a huge hare the other day, poor thing almost got away but got cornered and it died, quick though.
Housekeeper was over the moon.
Saw another one on the property today but locked the dogs out - the one noticed but didn't think to go to the open gate.

Did she Sautè it with mustard? i think i am going to. I am just so gatvol of walking into my local shopping center and finding factory beef, chicken , pig und mutton.

Probably not...didn't ask.
Not something I would eat, I just didn't want to see the animal go to waste, it was a stunning specimen, almost as big as the dog that caught it.
Most butcheries stock rabbit, best time for stock is about 2 months after xmas when little susy has had enough
