Racism 'growing' - HRCSA

Yes you ignore his comments, because the more we ignore them the less impact they will have.

We are giving him the power by blowing up everything he says in the media. That is not the same as ignoring a problem. If you can solve a problem by ignoring the cause then great. Bitching, moaning and calling him an idiot daily is old and pointless. We are empowering him.

So this is nothing like putting your head in the sand and ignoring something, it is more along the lines of solving a problem. If he gets no coverage the problem goes away.

Malema became president of the ANCYL with very little coverage. The papers only gave him coverage after he became president.

I call Bull@#$% to what the HRCSA is saying I rarely see racism in my daily life anymore. Just coz one party took another party to court over a song now suddenly the whole country is racist.

How do you make the Andries Tatane story a race issue?
I think the racism angle is a media invention. The HRC was commenting on a whole range of issues and the media picked to headline only the racism comment.

No, we were just the most successful at conquest.

This is actually a good point. Does colonisation and subsequent subjugation of the people of that nation constitute racism? Fine it isn't a nice thing to do but I don't see it as racism.

Having said that how many incidences of racism perpetrated by particular race groups is largely irrelevant unless you're going to start blaming the entire race group as a collective unit for those actions. Which is needless to say racist in and of itself. All race groups are capable of being racists. To deny this is just plain stupid.

What? Throughout the history of the world, whites have been the main propagators of racism.

Ugh.

Yeah, and throughout the world today, BLACKS are the ones keeping it alive! Grain of truth there? Sure. Massive generalisation? Definitely!

Well in the 'Western' world they have been. You get as many if not more racists on the other side of the planet but none of them hide behind some sort twisted theory that they're doing it for their benefit.
