Not denying that these guys are total idiots and need to be banned from wild park, have their drivers licenses revoked and spend some time doing community service or something, but people calling 'racism' as a crime punishable by getting eaten by a lion aren't exactly of sound mind either. I think you need to feed around 100% of the SA population to the lions then, LOL.
Geez, these morons didnt brutally slaughter the family, I am sure a huge fine, not being allowed to drive a car and a forced community service sentance or some jail time is enough. If it is actually true ofcourse. And if the Indian family is az innocentz as they proclaim to be.
People like this ruin lives. They go to a pub just for the fight. They come from all races and will usually pick on whatever they perceive to be the easiest target. They are inherently racist but if they cannot find whatever they want they'll go for the next easy target. These two should be made an example off.
In the case of those chaps in that Umbilo bar, their racism costed them their lives. Darwinism at work.
It's simple. If the motive is racially motivated from the beginning with no other ulterior motives then it qualifies as a racist attack. Example would be an attack by a bunch of Afrikaaners on a black rugby fan just for being at Loftus.Racism is rife and we know who to blame for that. But passive racism vs what happened here is 2 different things. I will however not call a side till the full story has been heard. I think it's harsh to make them out to be racist for calling out names in their heated emotional state though. Same happened to Skitter and I have no problem with anyone being a racist, be you black white pink or Greek. However, this altercation I highly doubt has anything to do with them being racist. We all say things when we get emotional
Just because racial bantering was going on doesn't make this a racist attack
Let's say I'm sitting with my wife looking at the rhinos and then a black guy robs me off my cellphone or what ever the case might be. We get into a fist fight and someone takes pictures. I'm pretty sure someone would hit coin out of posting such pictures on the news and quoting me for calling him a few racist names. Does this however now become a racist attack though?
Very carefull on this slippery slope guys.
