I have recently had the motor re-done on my old Mazda 626.
When I got it back, the belts where making a hell of a noise.
I planned to take it back, but before I could while I was driving the water hose popped off the radiator. I say popped, but it was more like exploded. The water literally washed over my windscreen as I was driving on the highway. Now I was next to one of those water trucks so at first I thought the water came from there and didn't think much of it. After a few km the car cut out and I noticed the temp for the first time.
Thats when I opened the bonnet and saw the pipe had popped off the radiator and there was no water. So I had it towed to the place that redid my engine.
He gave me a call and he is trying to tell me that the pipe popped off because there was a hole in the radiator. I'm telling him that the pipe would pop off due to a build in pressure not a lack thereof. Surely if there was a hole in the radiator it would leak water? It wasn't leaking water before this happened.
I think he is bull****ing me.
