Folks, thanks for the comment and concern shown following the BCCSA ruling against me. One never likes to get it wrong or to let people down but it's an occupational hazard in my line of work and after 20+ years of broadcasting, this is my first sanction.

I have always maintained that with rights come responsibility and I take full responsibility for this.

I really am happy to accept and respect the BCCSA's ruling without reservation or any appeal, in exactly the same way as I accepted the dozen plus rulings they made in my favour and in response to other complaints over the years.

My management team at Algoa FM has acted responsibly and have also been most supportive and I appreciate that.

No truth in the rumour that I've been suspended . I am playing golf with friends for a few days and will be back on air at the weekend.

Article lacks some crucial information. What was the critical point on which the BCCSA found he had acted irresponsibly?

My guess is that they said that it wasn't the government who "ran the post office".

And yet the DJ is right though in the reality of it.

The government can't run ANY of the parastatals properly. They are all falling apart slowly.

You have just committed the same error in your judgement by painting all parastatals in one colour. However reality trumps fantasy anyday all day. The likes of Transnet, ACSA are also falling apart in your fantasy world but in reality they are thriving and profitable entities.
