Hi all.
I'm Looking to host the HON/Dota Tournament at Rage this year again.
Last year We hosted the DOTA Tournament.

I want to get a feel for the community's choice
My Question to you are would you guys prefer a Dota or a Hon tournament this year?
(Could a mod please make a poll, i'm a new user so i can't or don't know how ;))

Would it be possible for any South African with a HoN account to join? Im in EL and would love to enter from here :D

Yeah, you should be able to play... you need to download the client from sahon.co.za, apply the patch and create an account.

I guess the controversy with Iburst was true then. Someone stole the game and hacked it lol?

Do they have the Linux client on sahon? The windows client is buggy and slow, I dont play HoN unless its on linux.

Wow, so someone hijacked the client in SA?

I'll be skipping Rage this year. Was quite boring last year.

Nope, nothing was hacked. We've been developing the server for a couple of months now. I started with this as a pet project when I logged onto the official servers one day and saw ZERO ZA servers to play on. Its grown quite considerably since then.

Unfortunately there is no *nix client as of yet, but there might be in the future.

I heard iBurst was in big k@k for some reason, and that's why they can't host anymore....was the server leaked?

Why don't you contact S2 and ask them about possible LAN tournament for account holders. I'm sure lan servers could be set up for the event easily.

I have considered doing this. However i first wish to get a solid feel which game would be the best

ISGaming is currently hosting the local for severs, there was some complications between S2 and IBurst. As I understand it S2 would run into a security risk if things continued as they were and IGames would of put their own security at risk if they would of given S2 what they wanted...

The local servers should be enough though, most people have switched to matchmaking.
