Hi all

Need some help in choosing a hardware setup for myself. Requirements are RAID 1 (mirroring), hotswap capable so I can remove and add disks without powering down, and must be able to rebuild the array without the use of 3rd party software.

Are there any consumer level mainboards/PCI Express RAID controller cards that can offer me this without costing thousands of rands?

I'm currently looking at original Intel series boards with Intel Matrix Storage and Rapid Recover, not too sure if these support hotswapping disks?

If anyone has any insight/experience to offer it would be greatly appreciated, thanks! :)
