@rain_networks From September 21 (Monday), the rain I used suddenly became unavailable. My area is the Hongmu community in Landfontaine. It can be used normally before. Starting on the 21st, the networks of several friends on my side looked the same. For questions, we use HUAWEI B315, HUAWEI B515, and HUAWEI B618 respectively. These routers cannot receive RAIN signals. Even if I manually searched for the RAIN signal, I couldn't find it, but I found that I took the router. Outside of my community, everything is normal. I have been using RAIN service for nearly two years. This is the first time this has happened. I contacted customer service, but customer service has not responded to me until now. I don't even know if Rain is a customer. Service center, I want to know if anyone has encountered the same problem and how to solve it.

If this is the case, it is really bad, but I think rain customer service center is worse than this. At least the customer consulted you, and you have to tell the customer what the reason is, the very bad customer center.
A great convenience for them not having physical brick-and-mortar stores, yes. I bet the queues would have been insane if they had stores.

Since you can get a sim from certain Clicks stores (and perhaps others), best would be to go throw a tantrum there over and over again for those struggling with RAIN until Clicks forces RAIN into some action.... oh wait...

Not sure what deal you're in with and if it's month-to-month or contract.

If you can ditch them I would vouch for MTN-based services (@AfriMan). Not with them myself, but I have a mobile MTN and a mobile Telkom setup and both are working fine for me.

Three of my partners have cancelled rain monthly R479 service tonight, and they are very disappointed

My situation is almost the same as yours. My tower is going down regularly and I have logged multiple support calls but they clearly do not care about these problems. They just give generic response to reset the router and blame load shedding, even when there is no load shedding lol. Its a real mess out here

As mentioned in another thread, I have been a customer for over a year and mine started doing this every night since the lockdown began.
During the day (for the most part) I can connect.
They make no attempt to look into it and never will if they have been doing nothing on my side for the last 6 months.
If you have a fixed router sitting in the same spot and it works some of the time, why should you have to reboot or move it around to connect to another tower.
Can they not make an attempt to fix the tower going offline everyday?

I have been using it for two years, starting from September 2018, but now I am considering whether to cancel this service
