Rain 4G Only works better than 4G Sim

So I just got two Rain 4G only sim cards for being a loyal customer and all. So I noticed that they have signal everywhere unlike the router which only has network when its close to the window.

Another thing is that the main Rain sim card which is in the router only works with the router but doesnt work on any of our phones whether its the iphone or android it just doesnt work. I was thinking that maybe it had something to do with band support?

Anyway have any of your guys have come across something similar and if so how did you resolve it? Please and thank you...

The phone sims are provisioned to work only in mobile handsets. Same for the router sims, only in routers. They probably shape and/or restrict traffic differently. For example, max 720p streaming on mobile, etc.
