RAIN 5G and VPN

Hi, I hope I am posting in the correct section. I recently obtained RAIN 5G and although I am getting awesome speeds (30Mbps package) I found that as soon as I connect my SurfShark VPN my speeds drop from the maximum 30Mbps to less than 3Mbps. I have 2 pc's connected to the same network, only the PC with the VPN connected appears to be throttled, the other one without the VPN gets normal speeds. Does anyone know if RAIN is throttling when VPN's are activated? Are there any settings I need to amend on my VPN or RAIN to avoid this. Thanks!

Try check the MTU settings, this often causes problems with VPN's on mobile connections

Thanks Leno, not that I really know what MTU settings are but I looked for them on the SurfShark interface and when I couldn't find them I decided to rather install and use OpenVPN interface with the SurfShark VPN and it worked better immediately - without having to change any MTU Settings. Now getting full speeds but need to install OpenVPN on all my devices. Thanks!
