Rain 5G cancellation

Have sent through for an agent to contact you and assist you further with your query
Great!!

Rain support merged my 2 tickets and closed the merged ticket!!
Rain support is a joke.

i got another ticket, asked a question regarding billing, and they answered that question and immediately closed the ticket AGAIN!!!

How do consumers make contact WITH Rain, are they a real business?
Their number isn't working(they blaming CV19) , no email response, and customer service protocol is stuck MSISDN-error? Surely a company cannot be this bad?
How would I go about to cancel their services??
Im stuck with R475 simcard that I cannot get working..

It’s bad man.

They did manage to contact me when I logged into rain.co.za with my account and went to my product and at the bottom, there is a cancel button.

This seems to generate a ticket and they did contact me about 72 hours later.

Hi.. Thank You for your advice, but when I am logged into Rain account, I don't have the options to cancel as my sim was never activate.. Rain took R475 from my account without activation and there are no means to make contact with them..( never will I complain about telkom service again).

Hello everyone. Did anybody get to cancel their Rain 5G ? And do they charge you at the end of the month even though you are not using it anymore?

It has been over 7+ days since I requested for cancellation of my 5G connection but no one from RAIN has yet to come back to me to assist with the cancellation process.

The Support Reference number linked to the cancellation request I'm referring to: 5214567

Please just assist me with the cancellation process.

I really do want to get this over and done with.

Trying to cancel my Rain 5G is almost as painful as using their poor network. after no support agent responded for almost 3 weeks after our last communication i decided to cancel my rain 5G sim . sent a cancellation request a week ago and no one at Rain has bothered to get back to me. their service is just as poor as the stability of their network.
The same happened to me, they just deducted the monies after I've been trying to cancel the service for weeks now. I will need to block and cancel my card to stop their long greedy fingers in my account.

This is Crazy.its 2021 December already and yet there still is people experience the same issue.One would've thought they would find a solution by now.But its only worse.
I am facing the exact same issue..Cant seem to get the 5G order Cancelled it even arrived after still waiting for cancellation confirmation as they said they would.I had two Sims on they network and decided to switch one to 5G.But they went ahead and deactivated the Sim which which does not have 5G in its area after delivering the 5G package to another address.They Support is non -Existent honestly... This here is My best Shot
