Good Evening all.
I have been a rain subscriber for a little while now and for the last 72 hours I have been experiencing a very annoying problem with my 5G router. It is the indoor type and I'm on the premium package for R999.
My router firmware is up to date but it is currently rebooting itself to factory defaults intermittently between 3 to 5 minute increments. Sometimes it stays on for 10 to 20 minutes then factory resets itself again. I have 95 percent signal strength. The router isn't damaged in anyway and was previously working perfectly never dropping or resetting before. Right now it doesn't stay on for longer than 90 seconds before going off and the blue light at the bottom flashing a few times resetting itself again.
I have logged a ticket with support two days ago : Web-Optimise 27816603872
Please can I arrange to have this router swapped out as it is obviously faulty as even if you completely remove the sim card it still continues to act this way. Manually resetting the router does nothing. No firmware updates were downloaded to the device and no changes have been made to the device or my network in anyway since before this began. The router has been functioning perfectly for months now till the last three days. @Rain Please can you assist me to get this resolved.
