Rain 5G No Signal

Depends
Everyone with no 5G signal (@KingBel @Exelon), please check your Network Mode under Internet->Network, ensure it's either Auto or SA. Mine was set to NSA mode and I had no 5G signal. After switching to SA 5G signal came back.

Depends on router you have and back end options. Currently three units supplied by RAIN out there and all different.

We did the SA migration last night, please try a reboot and if it doesn't work, PM me your details and we will reach out solve.
So for the uninitiated, what does "SA" mean? And what does the migration imply?
No more use at all of 4G networks anywhere?

What is Dual Mode 5G?
NSA (Non-Standalone Access) and SA (Standalone Access) are the two 5G network modes.

NSA relies on the 4G network facilities to provide more speed and higher data bandwidth. A 5G-enabled smartphone will connect to 5G or 4G network depending on conditions.

On the other hand, SA is the true 5G network, where the 5G network has its dedicated 5G facilities to provide enormous speed improvements and minimal network latency (delay). The 5G SA network is independent of the 4G network.

Mine seems to have resolved by itself. 5G signal has returned :)
Mine is on 5G (ha ha ha!! South Africa acan be so funny!) and SA blah blah. But now my download speed is round 4 Mbps or below it instead of the 30 Mbps of up to yesterday. That is from the previous shystering that Rain did and then set things right. When was that? A few months ago?

Fark that's funny! So my router is on 5G now, no more warra warra on measly 4G! And it is. I checked. 5G light on, 4G light dead. Setting on SA.
Ah... the wonders of 5G, hey?
Except now my speed is 4 Mbps on 5G instead of the 30 Mbs that I had up to yesterday on NSA...
South Africa hey? So farkin amazing....

Ok I'm going to be flamed for this.
Please test your internet connection with a LAN cable not WIFI before you start bitching !!!!!!!
Good point but make sure the LAN cable is not the limiting factor and check that the LAN interface is working properly as well.

I don't have SA as an option on my CPE it only has NSA as an option, 5g off since this morning. Tried factory resetting a few times and removing the sim etc etc @rain_mobile I sent you a PM

Just noticed that it's probably a firmware issue. Mine is still on V200R001C00SPC050
Can @rain_mobile send the firmware file or post it to this thread?

I'm guessing it's the standard N5368 that I have, it hasn't updated to the new firmware so I am locked on NSA with no other option available.

Spoke to tech guy yesterday and he said they were aware of ODU's not taking firmware and they were working on it. What ever that means.
