It has come a far way, but still far away from fulfilling my needs. If (not that I'll ever get Rain coverage) I were to get a 5G Huawei router I'd just NAT it to my router. I'm more than happy to live with the pains of double NAT just to avoid that limited functionality.

Few things to point out:

1. Don't use PPTP, it isn't secure.
2. Enable IPv6
3. Why do you have a Mikrotik connected but not using it as the "router" that everything else connects to? Nothing against you, I just find it a tad bit tedious to set up ISP-provided routers, if you ever cancel and you need to move to another ISP you are forced to redo configs on a new router. Rather get a decent router and let that router route via the appropriate connection. To most people, double NAT isn't a big issue anymore as most gaming now happens online on company-hosted servers.

Thanks for your reply my DVR / cctv is connected on lan port then to the Aruba AP via wireless only reason it's being used. Still got a 8 port old school system but have a poe switch 48 port 1 gig switch and two ip cameras.

Yes I agree with you having this device just as a gate way but then again I am actually tired of the pfsense, Fortigate firewall Mikrotik router tried it all Adsl with 3g back up mangle rules ect.

Only thing i am missing is netflix connected to the USA but I can just setup up one of the Mikrotiks to do this.

Currently have a mtn sim connected as backup so I can Rdp in to my nas everything is running on rain 5g and also can't open any ports as they do carrier grade natting it's the only issue I have with them.

The last issue I have is all my gateways are 10/100 LOL

This is interface for Q2 IDU (on the right) not the interface for ODU N5368 (on the left). ODU can be accessed by 192.168.8.1 as default.
