Is rain really offering 5G internet or its only 5g from the 5G router to the devices? These conspiracies, are they also chopping down trees?

I am sorry but, what now..??!

5G is the connection from your 5G router to the Rain towers.. And yes it's really 5G, provided it's within the coverage area for 5G..

I think you are confusing 5G with 5Ghz on your wireless network. They are two different concepts completely. 5G just stands for 5th Generation and does not describe the network at all, whereas 5GHz is the actual frequency your wireless router (as well as the Huawei routers) can use to deliver network connectivity to your local devices.

From the router to the device is wireless or Ethernet, not 5G.

From the router to the tower is 5G.

And no 5G does not cause Corona.

If a tree is where a tower needs to go I would is fine they might need to chop it down.

None of this should concern you.

Better ask them to do a few tests before you commit. They are not keeping to their 5G promise. From the Wifi to your phone, if your phone support it, you are able to connect with WiFi 6.0, which is the next generation wifi at 802.11ax.
I used to get 250Mbps, but only get about 6Mbps during the day.

I have a Huawei B525 and it has a 5G SSID option which confused me for a while until I figured out the 5GHz thing.

I have been with Telkom since they first introduced ADSL and I currently have LTE, there are no dates planned for fibre in my area so I have been looking at Rain 5G.

I am paying Telkom R899 for uncapped LTE, is Rain 5G worth the extra hundred bucks?
