i live in an area with no fibre as yet. i have been using rain but the speed is now so disappointing to say the least. rain support keeps telling me to move my router, which i have...to every inch of my house. i get very good speeds early mornings from the very same position that can't even open youtube at 240p during the day. surely its not the router position. what are other wireless alternatives out there for me?

@Snyper564 . thank you...will check it out
No problem. 699 2tb a month, it's month to month . Data seems to roll. Not locked to a specific tower. Speed depends on router. I use a B618s-65D you can check my speeds. Get up to 175dl and 22ul with 15ms latency.

Had the previous uncapped packed only had issues the last three weeks seems resolved now.

Had rock solid lte for almost 6 years.
Cant say the same for the poor service rain has been delivering. Also cancelled the rain I used as a second sim speed was horrible just got worse.

Telkom mobile gets better every year. It's not the same as telkom.

@Snyper564 . thats sounds way better , rather i pay for a service which gets delivered. i pay my R699 to rain every month for basically no service. daylight robbery it is.

I got my neighbour a F-LTE service via MTN through Supersonic. She gets between 60 and 80 mbps consistently
R499 a month

RAIN does not work that well here. Speeds are up and down. The fellow who has RAIN is tired of complaining, the fixes only last a day or two, if that

Indeed!

I have had telkom lte over 6 years my speeds started at around 15mb back then and are now 175.

I know ppl don't like telkom. But tolkom mobile isn't telkom.

Personally I have received nothing but great service. Not empty promises.

What good is uncapped internet if you can't even stream a YouTube video...

As I said it's month to month so may as well try
