I was also interested in the rise of the average for CoCT for the past week: Up 13.8% to 89.2% on 5 July!! That is incredible, quite a wet week...

Further rise in the CoCT dam levels between Mon 5th and Thurs 8th, and plenty more rain yesterday afternoon:

Still waiting for today's update, but overall level yesterday was 91.1% with Theewaterskloof on 97.5%, and 3rd largest Voelvlei still lagging at 73%.

Edit: Up 0.5% to 91.6% today. Not a huge amount of rain yesterday, and runoff slowed earlier in the week after several dry days.

Where is the rain? Anything this week?

Heavy rain during Mon 12th, with very cold temperatures overnight. The snow levels will be down to 1000m early on Tues 13th, which is probably the lowest elevation in a while. If you plan to go snow chasing this winter, sieze the opportunity...

One last question.
Wind.
Is it gonna be a storm this week on my Jetski going to work or is it kinda calm?

Where would I be able to find this snow?

So stellenbosch?
on top of the highest peaks in the area early Tues morning. Maybe try off Franshoek pass (if freezing level stays at 1000m) otherwise Ceres highlands is safe bet at 1200m
At 1000m even TM should get snow- though prob melt before 10am

Here too. Not much wind this time. The direction will swing round to the SW this afternoon, when it will get much colder. Snow will begin to fall on the mountains early this evening, and continue overnight.

Yeah wind wasn't bad at all this morning on the bike, thank goodness
This is a nice rain we're having, tad chilly outside I can feel
