Rain APN settings for LTE services.

Oh those are portable routers, you won't get much better signal. You need fixed LTE device with the external antennas to get better signal. Added a pic of my b525 with external lte antennas.

I priced one today at R2000, maybe have an extra 1 there for cheaper?

Hmm used they go 1500 or so. Not selling mine atm, might switch to WISP soon the I will sell.

I don't that router at all. Yes I had rain sim on b525 to check signal but was same as b618. Normally use 618 for rain and b525 for telkom.

you should know both routers from GTX GAMING which is the B618-22d and the B525-65a supports both Bands that Rain uses ... so please keep in mind that you know this information buying a router ...

In simple terms you get a B618 ... and a B525 but the last two number on the router makes a big difference bro

Placebo? Because RAIN doesn't have an unrestricted APN (that's a Telkom and Cell C thing last time I checked).

Checking out if some of my ports are open on https://www.canyouseeme.org confirms that APN doesn't do anything for me.

Okay guys please can anyone comment here on there experience.

There are 3 different apn settings that work for me: rain, internet and unrestricted.

I find that i get better speeds throughout the day using (unrestricted apn)

Is it just me? Can anyone test this from there side and confirm or is it just my imagination.
