RAIN APN settings?

Hi,

Can someone please confirm, what is the RAIN LTE APN settings, on the Afrihost network?

Client, in Cape Town, got a RAIN LTE router from Afrihost but it's not connecting. They said we need to supply the APN settings but refuse to help me since I'm not to account holder, and the manager who signed up is on leave till next year.

The routers are pre-configured and all you need to do is pop the sim in. It might be that the client just doesn't have coverage where they are

Yes they all come pre configured but the normal "internet" as apn also works.

Yes, it was supposed to be preconfigured, but it wasn't. There is coverage.

I tried an APN with "internet" and no username / password, but it doesn't connect. I'm in JHB and doing everything over a slower Telkom LTE link.

None, leave it blank.

If you look at my last posts in another thread, I just described the possible answer to my connection problem. It seems the company responsible for activating my SIM hasn't done so yet because my ISP tells me the SIM is still marked as "un-delivered", so nothing you do will activate it.

So try speak to your ISP (perhaps the billing department) and ask them to check if your SIM has been marked as delivered or not.

I had this problem when I received my router, I had to factory reset the router, and then it started working.
 
I am using my own MTN router. I had to create an new APN. Used INTERNET, leave all other settings blank.
 
Can anyone please show me or tell me all the information of rain APN profile settings please....
