Rain down?

You guys getting 1Mbps at night are truly lucky.
Every night for months speeds have been getting worse and worse.

Rain now down to 100-200Kbps (if it works at all)
Speeds at 2am are up to 10Mbps at best.

Used to get 25-30Mbps all the time when I signed up for this last year. :/

RAIN is still an issue and Afrihost does nothing about it. I am their client - their accounts department are ignoring me and I am currently on hold waiting for someone to help me...33:16min currently on hold.

Its 12:00 and this is what I get now. I used to average 30Mbps until 4 weeks ago.

Ping: 37ms
Download: 0.6Mbps
Upload: 3.39Mbps

All that Afrihost can do is pass on the information to RAIN. As Afrihost are just resellers. You might want to contact RAIN directly in hopes of making sure they get the needed Information.

Same here... RAIN is crawling, web pages don't load and when they do it sporadic. I've got full signal. No issues with telkom mobile In the same area..

Many threads on this Afrihost. Any reaction, accountability or responsibility?

Any Afrihost management interested in their business?

Also getting slow speeds with Afrihost's Rain LTE Service since Friday, despite getting full signal, router in the same position, the speeds remain unusable at time, whereas normally I was getting 40Mbps+ download, it is now barely 2Mbps... Same service from WebAfrica performs way better, thus it has to be something on Afrihost's side...

Weird that its better on WebAfrica seeing as Afrihost and WebAfrica are just resellers and not the isp.

It is weird, don't understand how that one is working, but Afrihost is following up with Rain/Internet Solutions themselves to get clarification.
