Rain eSim Support?

But I just want to know when will this happen as it was announced back in January already?

Will it only be for phones or watches as well? Seeing that it’s a data only company?

It's probably ready to launch just gonna find vodacom won't be happy with them doing it as they co share. Well iPhone users on contract will be able to use to the eSim which I'm sure they not happy with regarding Apple. After all they block all these dual sim phones

Secondly, I'm accessing the Vodacom network using an esim, and Voice over WiFi appears to be working.

Haven't tried it overseas as yet though.

Is that what you were asking?

How did you manage to get vodacom working over a eSim ? Thought they have only allowed this on Samsung watches etc

Yeah i do recall reading in something that it was gonna be around May this year but not a word has been said. As for Vodacom i see someone on the forum got a eSim to work on their iPhone i wonder how they got that going

Wonder how the RICA process went with the Vodacom eSim since rain seems to want it be done via the web

Well right now if you get a SIM at one of the pick n pay stores they use the Tyme bank kiosk to take a photo of your details and then a minute or so later your SIM is working

There were articles that this was delayed as they were also working on an online Rica process. I don't know what the issue is. Didn't somebody hear about upload forms yet?
