So I had the R299 25GB+25GB promo from Mweb for ages (since December 2017) and then handed it over to my sister that is paying it monthly. A while back Rain changed it to 25GB off peak and 25GB Peak but now I saw since last month Rain and Mweb has upped the data allowance to 100GB total for the same price of R299.

Anyone else getting more data?

Lucky. Still have the same cap with Afrihost

I guess so. Lucky them then. The B618 still rocking and I configured it for B38 which gives them a solid 45Mbps minimum so they are happy. The extra 50GB is a bonus :giggle:

Does MWEB give you rollover data ?

I don't know tbh but I don't think so. I thought it was rolled over data but rolled over to the exact 50.0GB I don't think so. Also they were capped last month based on the boosters they bought

I think MWEB does offer rollover data but not sure, I am on Fibre capped and I noticed this month for the first time there is a new section under the usage area showing "Carry Over Usage" I see that my current usage has first come off this and not off my current months standard usage cap. If they are offering Carry Over Usage it is a good thing don't know why they never announced it @MWEBHelp :D

Can confirm that MWEB does offer data rollover with Rain.

@cavedog I checked my rain, before cancelling a week ago, and I was not upgraded to a 100GB package. Lame on their part. Anyway, Vodacom deal completely blows theirs out of the water :-) Not to mention the speeds...

Hi,
explain how you did the configuration for B38? will also like to bump up my speeds.

Also with MWeb and got the extra data.

thanks.

You have to use a band tool to force B38

thanks, found your other post on how to change the band.

much appreciated.
