RAIN + Gaming = :-(

Many guys has asked this before - here is why you cant really game on RAIN



You have these ping spikes - like round 800ms ... is gaming that = death.

Then the ping is not consistent, I know this is wireless and there will be variances, but not like this, there is variances of like 80ms, its allot.



its not like the connection is bad a the moment, its just the ping that is horrible.

I think they might have messed with the routing again

Its not isolated to a single game either.

its not network traffic, as I am the only one connected to the CPE at the moment

I'm not seeing the same extreme latency but I do see that there is jitter and it wasn't always like that.

Try with a Local VPN, see what changes, my whole experience is improved with it nevermind outright speed.

Glad to report that something changed - yesterday morning already, but did not say anything just incase it was short lived.
Ping and stability is much improved
Speed test shows a nice smooth line.

Just not confident that it will stay this way, as someone is surely going to "OPTIMIZE" this tower again and then it's all going for a ball again
