RAIN in Harties - does it really suck so bad?

Always apologizing, that is all you good at - do you understand how long 7 months is? [email protected] - I opened this account with Broadband Forum because of you fools - and this account was opened on the 7th of June - only because I had no responses from Rain dating two weeks prior to opening of this account
I knew it Rain always pulls publicity stunts like they going to do something about your query - it’s going to month number 9 now and still no issue resolved

If you have to make a post about it, the obvious answer is yes rain ISP sucks big time no matter where you are...
I used RAIN when I was in Edenvale before going to Harties. My average daily speed was 85Mbps.
Then I got fibre so cancelled RAIN.
In Harties it was simply unusable with no way to fix it. I have friends there using RAIN and their complaints are the same. I think they are moving to another provider, but unsure.
I am now in Hilton, and it is better here. My connection does not drop like it did in Harties, but random speed tests can result in anything from 1Mbps to around 25Mbps. The key is my connection holds, so I am okay with it.

I live in the EAST rand. Rain is terrible here too.

I used an external antenna. Jumped from average 10Mbps to 85Mbps - and solidly. My neighbour 3 houses down could not get more than 10Mbps and gave up.
I think the external is necessary with these guys if you don't have one.
