Rain is really letting me down

So here's the story. In 2019 I lost my Rain that I bought from Takealot and RICA'd online(I'm the one who started the RAIN online RICA thread), So I bought a new one from Takealot and gave Rain its details to perform the sim swap for me. It all went all.
Fast forward to now, lost my sim again and I got a new one which I gave its details to RICA on myBB. Moments later I get an email saying I can only do a sim swap with a sim bought from them? What changed? What's the difference from then and now? There's a reason some of us buy our cards from Takealot/Clicks, we live in places that don't have street address or in remote areas where we can't receive packages.

Rain is good to me, I get good coverage and speeds. I'm just surprised that they can't do this one thing for me that they were able to do before. Since we can RICA online, surely we can do sim swaps as well.

First sim, had visitors over and it suddenly disappeared. Current sim, took it out of the router at 6pm to insert one from Telkom to game online. Woke up the next day and forgot where I put it. Looked everywhere.

Former, both 5G (was part of the initial invite-only sign ups, things were good then) and LTE, which I cancelled in December after the service dived so badly I couldn't justify it even at it's dirt cheap cost.
 
Update: I was able to get helped. If you ever lose your sim, instead of requesting a sim swap online and waiting for Rain to deliver a new one, another option is to just contact them to cancel the old one and activate a new one from clicks/takealot. The whole process will take less than a day or two.

How do you get in touch with them? I can't find a phone number anywhere, and they are so unresponsive via their website help tools

They're very responsive on myBB. Just find a thread with the same issue as yours and tag them on your comment. They'll ask you to send them a DM so that they can assist.
