I am on a 20 GB package with Afrihost
Occasionally I have to top up - which I don't mind, as usage correlates to the data going down
In April, I had to top up 5GBs a few times, so I started digging further
Afrihost gives logs for a day - they show that we used data (close to 200Mbs) when no one was at home and no devices were connected (Laptops and phones came with me). If it's showing 200 Mbs when no one is at home, how can anything else the logs give us be accurate?
I asked them and they gave me the same couldn't care attitude - "sorry, you must have used that data".
I have checked and there are no other users on my network (Who's on my wifi, Arcai's Netcut).
I even followed their advice and downloaded a few apps to track usage - the usage that they say I am going through is double what all the apps say...
How is this possible?
@AfriMan , @AfriGuy , @Afrigirl
Please, surely, there's a way to get reports of the actual times that data is used / requested?
