Rain Network unusable

Hi,

I do think that we when there are issues for over two days Rain should find a way to proactively notify us. We use your service to work from home and run businesses. so two day is two long without reliable service, not to mention that there is still no ETR.

One could have looked at alternatives tone able to keep working.

Thank you

Hi lava, I completely agree with you.

This is the solution I suggest.
Rain already maintains the map of Rain towers which is available for us to view. All they need do is extend the functionality of this map by :

1) Colouring the symbol to show its operational status. Different colours could show reason for being down. The main being 1) load shedding, 2) battery theft, 3) technical fault.
2) Making the symbol clickable to bring up an info box which displays the nature of the fault and the status of work to bring it online again, together with estimated to to repair.

Problems happen and sometimes technical obstacles make it difficult to repair quickly. We all understand that. The mere act of keeping us fully informed reassures us and helps to buy our forgiveness and tolerance.

If this was done we would immediately know if the problem was on our side or with the Rain tower. This is a valuable distinction.

regards, Peter.

Ive not been able to connect to my my local rain tower for months now... You just get told to restart the router or aim it at the window...Aside from the rep on here there is zero tech support...i dont think they give a toss really.
