What router you using
B315 - - > the white telkom one. I have ubiquity kit, but im not using it at the moment. Used that when I had fibre, and I'll use it again when i get fibre again at some stage.

The B618, B525 or B535 should give you improved performance.

This won't help you but you are not the only Rain user struggling with poor speeds, due to network congestion (people streaming at home due to the lockdown).

Yeah, sure - i know lockown is probably not helping. Luckily the performance increases late in the evening, so then at least i can get stuff done.

Did you relocate to a non-fibre area?
Ja, i'm renting at the moment, because i was about to start building a new place just before COVID struck. Fibre in this area will go live at the end of April apparently ( Frogfoot ), so i'll see if that happens...else i'l just have to wait it out.

My other concern is where I'm planning on building is on an estate just outside town, lol ..and there is no fibre there either ...but i hear that this will come...until then i'll have to just enjoy nature i guess !
