Hi, I just logged into my router settings and saw they updated the firmware so that you can either choose the 1800mhz or 2600mhz yourself now without any applications. I have the B315-22d. Speeds are vastly different.

That's relatively old news...

and ,still can't connect to 2600 if you nowhere near a tower broadcasting on that band.
Stuck on 4G, 1800.

Yes its old news because you could do it only via 3rd party app but now its in the firmware.

That option has been available on the B315s-936 variant for a while now. Maybe it's new on the 22d.
Ok... How do I get 2600mhz? Only have the 2300 option on my b315s. Update section shows it's up to date.

Is this the same router that comes with the Cell C fixed LTE deals. Because if it is I can't seem to find the option to choose 1800mhz or 2600mhz. Some help would be appreciated.

I think you need to just insert a rain mobile sim and update the settings

192.168.0.1 then insert your username normally admin, and password. Go to settings and click on network there should be options to choose which band to use.
A router’s IP address is simply a default gateway in a specific network connection. This web-based page allows the user to make certain changes to the router’s settings for 192.168.0.1
