Rain router with cell c sim is it worth it

I've been having constant slow connections with rain during peak times. Majority of time at night I get 2mb. Thinking if I should get cell c lte. Firstly will my router work with cell c sim and secondly are my speeds gonna be any better than rain? I live in kenwyn cape town

The sim and router will work but Cell C is having the same problems that rain had. I don’t think it’s worth it to be honest. (I am on Cell C fixed LTE from axxes)

The Rain SIM does work on the B618 router which I have tried for a friend in Gauteng and he is on Cellc.

Can’t even load a speed test at peak times. That’s how bad it is. During off peak I get 10mbps or so.

So there's no point in switching to cell c then. Fibre coming to area in next 6 weeks so might as well wait

Yap fibre seems to be the best option at this point
