Hi guys, we are opening a new office in Centurion, Highveld Technopark area. As a temporary solution for the first few months we are looking at using RAIN 5G, the website says there is 5G coverage however, I would like to know if anyone here uses it in that area and what speeds are we looking at. Any info would be appreciated.

I work from home - Centurion - Rooihuiskraal area.
And the speed differs from tower to tower - and how congested an area is.
So my speed varies from very good 7:00 in the morning to shocking slow from about 13:00.
So my speed starts off round 280 down and 120 up, and drops to as low as 30 down and 20 up.
There is allot of jitter(up to 50ms), and ping speed SUCKS from time to time.
Support is really non existing though their official channels, that is why most guys come and complain here
It is not the most reliable service, with random disconnects, combining that with zero support and I would not recommend it for a business.

Friend of mine stays across the highway from techno park (Akkerboom str) - he never got anything above 20Mbps with his 5G CPE - after a couple of months of no joy on the support side he gave up - got fiber.

I put this as nicely as I could, and this is MY experience and MY opinion.

@cavedog can give some insight... saw some speedtests from him in that area sometime ago

That is a bit far from me. Before was Wierdapark and now The Reeds.

There is a couple of towers there.Coverage won't be an issue. There is also Openserve and MetroFibre I believe.
