Good day all quick question has anyone use a UPS on the rain network and does it still work while there is loadshedding?

The best way I found to find out when any network is online during loadshedding is to do a Network Search on a mobile device. Multiple devices helps since frequencies may differ between devices.

Doesn't cost anything but time before you commit to a UPS.

Generally, yes. Their towers have battery backup. On prolonged outages the batteries may die before the outage is over. Bonus points if the tower you connect to is in another load shedding zone - it won't go down at the same time as you do.

I have a UPS on my router and I have internet during load shedding.
