Do I need to worry about the lower pH of rain water? Will it break my home plumbing much faster than municipal water?

Yes, lower pH water can cause corrosion and you can end up with higher levels of copper in your water.. However, low pH with enough CaCO3 can offset the corrosion effect, so get a proper water test to measure the various elements in your water..

You can use the langelier index as a guide to how corrosive your water may be..

I think a massive **** after eating that lekker hot and spicey bunny chow will break your entire home plumming system faster.
