RAIN weird route issues

I did a speed test with a friends router today and while I found the speed has dropped significantly since last week, I also noticed something strange.

The test was done in Randburg, but the speed app thought we were in Cape Town. Plugged in my own router and somehow I am now in Nelspruit.

Usually it picks up correctly. I wonders whats going on inside RAIN's network.

Mine still and always has automatically picked JHB even though the test is done from CPT. Whether it's via router or phone.

Are either of the routers using different DNS servers..?

Both used the same DNS server (tested on the same laptop with a specific DNS used).

Not a biggie, just wondered why this happened this week when it's never done this before. Thought it had to do with RAIN's recent routing issues. That and the newest drop in speed.
