Rain101 router connectivity issues

I signed up for a rain one home connection with the 101 router (30Mbps package) in January. The router is set up at my elderly mother's flat to give her internet access, so her demands are not excessive (she doesn't even stream video apart from the odd video on Youtube or Facebook) and mobile data works better as her flat is unable to get a fibre line without circumventing some complications. The router itself has always had reasonably good signal, at least insofar as the on-device signal chart indicates. After a reasonably issue-free first few months, since the start of June, there are random connection drops and periods of extremely slow performance on a daily basis, which are sometimes solved with a reboot. We have tried moving the router to other, less convenient locations where the signal is better and still get the same issues. Has anyone else had these sorts of challenges and any recommendations for how to solve (aside from the obvious - bite the bullet and sort out the fibre line or cancel with rain and find an alternative provider)?

Good morning. I never heard back on this. It could be because the account is in my mother's name and linked to her email address but no one ever even tried to make contact with me via the email address provided. We are now trying to cancel with rain due to the service challenges and repeated connection drops despite having great signal, but cannot login to the app to do so as whenever we do a forgotten password request, we receive no email back. This is using my mother's email address noted above. Nothing in the spam folder either. And this has been attempted multiple times since Thursday. Not sure how to proceed.

@flash10ah I recommend deleting the email address off a public forum.

I have the same issues. Rain rep told me it was a "tower issue" related to "vandalism" via PM. It was then supposedly "fixed" (it wasn't). Rain rep then said they would revert when it was "fixed". Crickets.

Internet drops most nights, late at night. A traceroute suggests a network problem somewhere further up the Rain chain, not the first hop (the tower).
