Anyone have Rainbow Six : Seige ?

The above article says the previous Rainbow Six games were far better in terms of strategy.

I'm trying to work out the single player modes and what it has lost. I have Googled, and many articles contradict each other (depending on when they were published and was what the maker removed/added).

So - is it worth to purchase this game as a single player?

I have it - there is no point in buying it if you don't plan on playing MP. You will be limited to 10 situations and terrorist hunt. I haven't seen bot options in custom lobbies.

Look around at what pings fellow saffers have. Here it's not so much reaction as thinking and creativity. Unless you are playing high level ranked games, there isn't much need to be a team player.

Dude that logic is stupid, FPS games suppose to be mostly focused on Multi-Player ONLY. CoD single player is crap and done in 2 hours, I doubt anyone even download CoD just for single player ever. This 2015 not 2003 or whatever, where FPS devs used to make campaign, wake up.

You are judging a game over not having a campaign, then why even bother buying any online game and just play offline games. I hate these stupid idiots. Only reason for you or any person moaning not having a single player, must really suck at FPS games or playing on a console which is sad.

It is like saying, buying CS:GO to play against Bots, stupid idiot.

R6 is amazing multiplayer shooter and actually requires a team do well in it. I hope there will be Local Servers, will be amazing.

I'll probably buy it for the multiplayer - but my brother is thinking of buying a PS4 for this game. He used to play the old SWAT games (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SWAT_3:_Close_Quarters_Battle) that has single player campaigns and they were epic.

Are we ever going to get local servers? Would be cool to play against Saffers only with a sub 100ms ping.

My ping is usually around 200ms.

We actually got a South African only squad going last night. But nothing else beats the feeling when you play Gaz and kill four players on the airplane before the first breach is made. Twice in a row.

True multiplayer is a bit iffy with the high latency. Microsoft Azure servers which means we will not be getting local servers unfortunately. Ive held off buying this game, played during closed alpha etc but the lag killed me.

Terrorist hunt with friends is quite fun but other than that... not so sure. Without local servers this game isnt quite as good as it should be.

My bad it should be Glaz who is the attacking sniper. The main way to use him is to take high vantage outside and shoot in. Though it may requires your team mates clearing barricades to open sight lines. He works well on the presidential plane, chalet and house maps with high outside vantage points.

On the presidential plane map I climbed the cargo lifts and sniped in through the windows. Four defenders dead before the rest of the team entered the airplane and it worked twice against the same team.
