So......

My speed has dropped from 50mbps down to 6-8mbps over thew past month. After numerous back and forth emails between rain technicians thinking i dont understand anything they sent me the below reply,

"
Thanks again for contacting rain Support.

There could be a lot of reasons for your speeds for instance if the number of users connected to the site you are connected to then the speeds will keep dropping as well however rain is mainly for streaming purposes and your speeds may increase at some point but they are at the required standard according to what the services are for. "

Now i understand the issue of x users per high site, but trying to justify not resolving the speed issue by saying rain is mainly for streaming is just a joke. Their customer service has really gone down the drain lately.

I mainly use it for streaming and it works perfectly.

Yeah rain has gotten really bad the past few months. I can barely even stream 480p youtube during the day.

This whole week my speed has been between 0.2 and. 7 mbps, I would love to even just get 4mbps reliably. I've complained to rain and they said they'll look into it. If this isn't sorted by the end of the month I'm probably canceling. Today's it running at 4.8mbps but it's still early and it's a public holiday so it might stay at this speed, but it mostly crashes late morning.

I used to get 29Mbps on Rain, this morning I was getting around 2-3Mbps and I couldn't even stream an HD YouTube video. I'm thinking of cancelling my Rain Uncapped and increasing my cap on Cell C Fixed LTE from 50Gb to 100Gb, they have decent speeds where I am
