RAM question

Hi guys

Can anyone tell me whether I can use DDR2-800mhz on my pc?? Motherboard is GA-945GCMX-S2. Currently I had 2 x 512MB but one went bad just a couple of days ago. Respectively it was 1 x 667mhz and 1 x 533mhz. These RAM cards are discontinued so you can understand my dilemma.

With only 512MB of RAM my gaming is limited. Can anyone help?? Please??

I hear what you're saying but where to find DDR 667??? When I bought the pc the memory modules were like that already. It's only when the one card failed that I noticed the difference in the RAM cards.

So....square 1 I guess.

Depends on the RAM, but most DDR2-800 shouldn't have a problem running at 667 speeds. According to Crucial.com, it should work.

It should work but will only run at 667

Yea, as above they'll work at the slower (667) speed.
